Our flood light masts fabricators in Kenya are designed to the latest engineering codes and practice to make it very easy for the end user to save time and money. Our flood light masts fabricators in Nairobi Kenya are easy to maintain with a simple and effective winching system which allows the lighting ring to be lowered to ground level for lantern maintenance. The wiring is done in such a way as to reduce the risk of electrocution, water ingress and other weatherproofing technologies that ensure energy saving, safety and maximum product life. Our products and services conform to the highest safety standards
We offer a wide range of continuously tapered, polygonal cross section designs that promise pleasing aesthetics as well as host of safety features based on proven In Tension design conforming to the highest standards for assured performance, and reliable service.
Flood light Masts in Nairobi Kenya are fabricated from special steel plates, conforming to the required standard or equivalent that are telescopically jointed and welded for maximum wind loading.
Masts are delivered in sections of effective length 10 metres at site to a maximum of 30 metres with a single longitudinal seam weld per section. The procedural weld geometry and the workmanship are exhaustively tested on the completed welds to ensure consistency and quality. Sections are bolted with an appropriate overlap distance to ensure uniform load distribution. The design calculations which inform the dimensions of the masts are submitted for verification as part of the standard project documentation.
Masts are provided with fully penetrated flanges that are free from lamination or incursion. The welded connection of the base flange are fully developed to the strength of the entire section and provided with supplementary gussets between the bolt-holes to ensure elimination of helical stress concentration. Entire fabricated masts are hot dip galvanised, internally and externally, having a uniform thickness by single dipping method to protect them from weather elements, for better adhesion and longer life.
Our engineering design team ensure that the entire mast structure is suitable to sustain maximum reaction arising from a wind speed in line with the highest dynamic wind load design guidelines. Our fabricated Lantern Carriages for fixing and holding the flood light fittings are specially designed with steel tube construction, the tubes acting as conduits for wires, with holes fully protected by grommets.
The Lantern Carriages are so designed and fabricated to hold the required number of flood light fittings and have a perfect self-balance promising not just better lighting functionality but also cutting edge aesthetics. The inner lining of the carriages has a protective PVC arrangement so that no damage is caused to the surface of the mast during the raising and lowering operation of the carriage.
The Lantern Carriages are hot-dip galvanised after fabrication. Suitable terminal boxes are provided at the base compartment of the high mast for terminating incoming cables. Weather proof junction boxes are provided at the top to terminate the trailing cables which are terminated by means of specially designed, metal-clad, multi-pin plug and sockets provided in the base compartment to enable easy disconnection when required. We incorporate suitable LED Aviation Obstruction Lights of reliable design on top of the mast for safety on demand. Luminaires are specially designed with suitable lamp housing and control gears and are tested to the highest standards.
We supply and install both solar-powered and standard alternating current high mast floodlights.
